Hey everybody! Prism here!

I've been thinking about my own concepts for Pokémon fan region a lot over the years and I'm finally getting to a point where the rough sketches for the story are getting much more concrete. So, I am here to share my ideas and thoughts with you

I am not much of an artist, I like writing and making music a lot more, but I do draw stuff occasionally. However, I mostly draw on paper with pencils, no fancy computer tool drawing, I'm afraid. As you can see most of the stuff I do is b/w too, so the first couple of images I'll upload will all be b/w. I do plan on doing colored versions of my fakemon designs as well, but the images are here more to liven up the story sections I am eventually going to do.

Alright, now to this little gem here. The Jouen Region is based on the Chugoku area of Japan and my Fakemon story Prism is going to be a kind of What If scenario. What if Pokémon had stayed in Japan with its regions after Sinnoh? So my Pokédex, characters, story, and hypothetical game mechanics will ignore anything AND everything that came after generation 4. So you could view these as alternative gen 5 games, if Black and White never existed.

The region and its inhabitants are very steeped in tradition, similar to Johto, fittingly, because this region would be located to the west of Johto (there is no plans as of this point for a return to Johto in a hypothetical post-game however...)

Over the course of the next days, weeks, months, ... I will upload my fakemon and character designs, as well as story concepts, in order to eventually be able to tell the full story of Project Prism, which this account is named after... duh!

However, I do have other fakemon projects I am working on as well, so this will not remain the only one, it is just the first!

I hope that some of you are interested in following me on this journey toward the realization of my first own fakemon story!
