I actually started this last year when I picked Ocarina of Time for my 3DS and I realized Princess Ruto actually looked quite pretty, for a Zora that is. I was always kind of a fan of how cute she acted around Link. So I decided to give them a dip through what we can presume to be Lake Hyrule. Yes Link should probably be wearing the blue tunic, but his green is too iconic, and maybe Ruto is helping with the oxygen supply
All in all, I really enjoyed doing this piece. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot doing it. Took around 40 hours I think (I really need to work on drawing faster) in Photoshop with my Intuos3.

She is rather pretty, for a Zora. Good for you for having the Zora Sapphire around her neck. Definitely one of the prettiest things you can "pick up" in the game. I'll always love this game, no matter how many consoles they release it for.

ALways thought He and Ruto would be a good match. Out of all the OoT Love interests, she has the most personality. Plus, she isn`t TOO much of a tsundere.

Wow, this is a really amazing piece. I had never thought much about Princess Ruto until you said something here. She is a rather pretty character for all of her exotic and alien attributes. I enjoy the feeling of movement in this image mostly and how Link's outfit is more of the Twilight style rather than the OoT version. It adds a more... realistic [not sure what word to use] hint to the style you have. Which, the way you create is very nice. I like the combination of 'lined' and 'non lined' work you did on the figures.

Actually, there is ONE feedback I do like to give. You made Link's face be a little too feminine. I mean, he still looks good, it's just...you know, face's a little TOO feminine is all. 8o
