I actually started this last year when I picked Ocarina of Time for my 3DS and I realized Princess Ruto actually looked quite pretty, for a Zora that is. I was always kind of a fan of how cute she acted around Link. So I decided to give them a dip through what we can presume to be Lake Hyrule. Yes Link should probably be wearing the blue tunic, but his green is too iconic, and maybe Ruto is helping with the oxygen supply
All in all, I really enjoyed doing this piece. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot doing it. Took around 40 hours I think (I really need to work on drawing faster) in Photoshop with my Intuos3.

I absolutely love this peice the way you've captured the emotions here and such perfect crisp lines. THe use of colors gives it that real underwater look and use of perspective as if you were the camera man capturing such a wonderful moment in LOZ and not to mention the epic lifelike expressions on the characters to show they are enjoying themselves at the moment.I love how you made I believe the sun the only light source to give it great higlights and tones to the bodies and clothing even the folds on the clothing would suggest they are under water almost light as a feather overall great job kudos to your hardwork
