I actually started this last year when I picked Ocarina of Time for my 3DS and I realized Princess Ruto actually looked quite pretty, for a Zora that is. I was always kind of a fan of how cute she acted around Link. So I decided to give them a dip through what we can presume to be Lake Hyrule. Yes Link should probably be wearing the blue tunic, but his green is too iconic, and maybe Ruto is helping with the oxygen supply
All in all, I really enjoyed doing this piece. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot doing it. Took around 40 hours I think (I really need to work on drawing faster) in Photoshop with my Intuos3.

Beautifully done. Little confusing that it's basically Twilight Princess Link's outfit, but it looks cooler than his look in Ocarina of Time so I can't really complain. Also, *Lake Hylia.

This is a very beautiful piece, I love it! The designs on Ruto's fins are really pretty and Link's face is so cute! (though I wonder how his hat stays on while he swims... magic!)

wow, the coloring of this is really amazing! Especially the reflections and the shading on link's clothes!! I also really love his hair, so shiny!! XD

This is gorgeous... Major kudos to you! Would you consider drawing Nabooru from Ocarina? You could probably make a really cool picture of her and Ruto together even.

I just picked up a copy of Ocarina of Time and a 3DS just a few months ago. It is cute how Princess Ruto acts around Link.

Personally, I would have enjoyed the blue tunic. It's a bit of a bummer that he doesn't fit his environment, which is a big part of all the games.

Gorgeous artwork! I really love the soft coloring and that mezmorizing look Princess Ruto has. The only feedback I would give is to fix their arms. If you there's more space between them you can Ruto's forearm longer and Link's shoulder/torso a bit more broader.

Pretty good looks like from twilight princess, but isn't Link wearing the wrong tunic? Where's the blue one that lets him breath underwater? Excellent job though.
