While Rebecca has never fired a gun before, the X-001's pilot-assist AI is perfectly capable of wielding a large variety of assault firearms without relying on the abilities of its pilot, ranging from mobile-suit SMGS to heavy assault rifles. The fore-arm mounted autocannon and reactive-plate armor can be released to accomodate super-heavy weapons such as ion-cannons and rail guns.Related content

Very reminscent of Gundam Wing, while the rifle is more Gundam Seed. Either way, awesome job

Glad someone picked up on it. Yes, the lighting effects are inspired by the Gundam Wing animated series. As for the gun, it's actually modeled after the EFSF standard assault rifle from the original RX-8 Gundam series.
