Pornography is defined as obscene work with no artistic merit. I'd argue that if you can claim porn as art in the first place, then it's not really porn at all. Having said that, I agree we don't really need anymore crummy closeups of some ladies' sqwack.

I am such a hypocrite with this. I post what DA allows me to as per their rules, but I would totally support a cleansing of the site. I would clean up my gallery no probs, because frankly I'm sick of the really horrible "LOOK AT MY CUNT/VAGINA PIMPLES/PENIS/ANUS/ASS HAIR YOU GUYS!!!" photos too.

There is a mature filter for a reason, and it's not porn (some of it is) It's nude art, which, really is art most of the time. Now, I respect your opinion and I'm not trying to change you, just felt like voicing my opinion even though I don't like nude art myself.

Not trying to start a flame war or argument or anything, but the problem with the mature tag is that no one uses it. Even if you find something that you think needs one, the artist will sit there and counter that it doesn't, and then you have supporters of both sides.
What needs a 'mature tag' is a decision of opinion nowadays, so really anyone can get away with not using one if they don't want to, with the right argument.

I think puting a mature tag whenever there's a naked person is kinda compulsory, I mean I thought it was in the DA rules. Now wether or not people actually do it is another thing entirely, if what you say is true (I don't know when the filter is on, I have it turned off by default when I browse)

I'm fairly accepting of peoples preferences of things, no matter what type of media they have a preference for sexually.
But explicit content does not belong on DA, at least keep it suggestive instead of being an image where you HAVE to censor certain parts as to keep within the rules of DA.

There's a difference between just plain or artistic nude and some stranger's gaping, latex clad vagina in your face. I love porn, I'll look it up if I ever get la itch but I don't want it suddenly shoved in my eye sockets when I'm just looking up references for Whimsicott.
