Okay yeah, apparently last time I had my calculations off. I thought I was at like 58 characters. As it turns out I was at exactly 49 (Not including remakes and younger versions of them) So I decided to have my 50th be the only character to have 3 different forms, and happens to be one of the fan favorites. Personally she's not one of my favorite character, but she's in the top 10 probably.

Okay, anyway, I guess I'll just move on.

1-5 Ema Skye
This one was probably the hardest of the three. I ended up drawing the coat completely by hand, and all of her decorations. Although because pixels are big, most of them weren't more than like 5 pixels making it impossible to do any kind of detail. Also the bag. The bag actually was pretty hard. I took the bag in her real sprites, but that only has like half of it, so using her official art as reference I drew the bottom half. It was just kind of lengthy. I guess that's all I have for her.

5-3 Ema Skye
I don't have very much to say about her. She was definitely the easiest of the three being I could take most of it from her 1-5 sprite. I was really worried though because I knew that Ema's sprites being sideways wouldn't be able to resize. So I was skeptical if I could make her hat. But thankfully Team Rocket was nice enough to cover for that and give thier grunts just about the exact same hat as Ema. XD I was very happy about that. I tried to make her a bit taller just because it is like 2 or so years after Rise from the ashes, but I ended up only doing it by one or two pixels, making it not very noticeable. Although that might be realistic. I don't know.

She was also pretty difficult, but I think the first one was harder. One hard thing I ran into was her legs. When I tried recoloring pants to shorten them I had a hard time making them look like legs. And even when I did it make her look like her legs were the fattest part of her body. XD Thankfully I managed to fix that. I also drew this one's coat by hand, and I honestly think this one looks a lot better than the first one's. Also her face was a problem too. One of my struggles with Ema is, most Pokemon trainers don't have her kind of, face. The color can be redone, but the expression I can only do so much with considering the average mouth is a maximum of 3 pixels usually. However I found a way around that for her. To cover for the eyes just have her wear the glasses in this one. It also works, because in Ema's only sprites where she wears them in AJ, she has a kind of smirk almost, which is a lot easier to match than her normal pleasant expression. So I ended up using the one I least expected to use for Ema, Fantina from Diamond and Pearl. Okay I'll admit I expected Bertha less. XD I guess that's about it. I'll probably talk more about the next one in my journal within the next few days. I'll write it eventually. XD Until then, HAPY 50th CHARACTER ANNIVERSARY!
