Description
I originally started this piece around the time I started my previous posted image "Blitzkrieg," finally finished it now though.Comparing it to my two newest submissions - I would have liked to re-do it from scratch but time limited that possibility.
Maybe I'll do another piece in the future to make up for this rush-job.

Those are some pretty darn awesome Mandrakes. Well, Mandrakes in general are kind of awesome, and this pic manages to completely do them justice. Man, if they weren't completely outside my army build, I would totally get a squad of these guys...

I'd keep this one the way it is, mostly. The mandrakes are amazing, their midnight black forms and highlighted markings are a great contrast. The differences in value in those markings really makes them pop out and gives a sense that they have different flows of energy and they're constantly moving, pulsating and shifting.
The background and setting is enough, as they're not the subject of the drawing. The only thing I'd try and change are the weapons, they look kind of insubstantial with the way you rendered them. I'd take this piece, enlarge the file size, redraw the weapons, shrink it back down again and done.
