Description
At last a proper homemade character piece! Halo is the game that spawned the Protocol X27 concept, AND coincidentally it's like 10 years old this year, give or take a few months since Halo 3 realeased in 2007. This is a good likeness for the 'Keeper of the Construct Curves'So what's the scoop? I was expecting my next release to be some XCOM 2 mods. I've been working on putting Spartan armor into the game. It got me back into Halo extraction and in the process I overlooked some better extraction tools for Halo, so I had the buzz to go back and re-work my Halo/Protocol X27 concepts from scrath. Since it's been a couple years it was time to implement the stuff I've learned in the meantime... better lighting thanks to DDS files over TIFs, shiny metal materials, better emissive ideas, animated materials (Cortana), and even ability to translate to a DOA skeleton so I can leverage animations. Still been tinkering with soft physics too, so I was eager to try putting them on Cortana and retrying my hand at her materials. I'm glad I was able to get the scrolling material working!
PS: Halo 3 Cortana is still best Cortana,
