I've been looking through my XCraft project notes again, checking off some asset prep. I have a scene in mind for some antagonist characters, and I forgot that I had rather unique selection on the list, Lady Frenzy. I'm almost willing to bet that virtually no one will have a clue as to who this is. With an excessively 90's color scheme like that, she must be a knockoff GI Joe character right? Nope! Put your history caps on, this stuff goes way back. There was a 90's cartoon called, Bots Master, it was a really obscure sci fi cartoon that could have passed for a poor man's Transformers. Didn't matter to me at the time, I really liked it. Lot's of cool robots, 3D segments and some weird, catchy techno/rap style riffs. So, Lady Frenzy is a villain who's always got some love-hate relationship going on with the protagonist. I figured she'd complement the bonkers crossover stuff that I've already started. I can't really think of any other custom characters on my list, so hopefully she's the last. At least working on her was a walk in the park compared to past multi-day/multi-week character builds. It's easier to work on a cartoon character with less detail, but that didn't keep Kallen from taking forever, I got this one done in maybe a day and a half. I just have some rigging fixes to do, but otherwise I now have 2 of 4 villains done.
