i finally got around to making a tribute DAD for my deceased family member Wiggle (who was a cockatiel, he was more human than bird)its still a mystery to me how he died... just one day i walked inside and was told he died in the space of 2 hours of no one being home... after 8 years of living with us...
i really do miss the asshole tho... even if he was extremely moody, yet adorable when he begged for scratches and then just cuddle with you for hours till he got hungry or thirsty or wanted to stretch his wings.

Age: 9 years old. (thats how old he was roughly irl before we lost him)
Gender: Male.
Personality: noisy, lazy, moody.
Likes: Β hot chips, noodles, getting scratched, imitating the phone ring noise, whistling.
Dislikes: children, fast moving hands, trees, other animals, other birds,Β
Extras: he didnt develop flight feathers on his left wing, so he was never able to fly (was kind of the reason we took him in in the first place)

Take good care of them, they are great once they become attached to you. I miss wiggle so much he was so cuddly sometimes and he'd always ask for food when ever we cooked anything

Oh man, I'm really sorry. Losing a pet hurts just as much as losing a family member (and in my case, I cry more when an animal dies compared to a family member)
But I'm sure the asshole birb would've loved to see you draw something for him <333 I'm sure his ego would've inflated quite a bit lol

The worst thing about loosing him is I still have urges to sneak him some of my food when I'm in side cooking, or letting him taste the food I'm cooking. And I miss our whistle songs that would keep us both occupied while we wait for stuff.

Aww that's adorable <3 I used to want a cockatiel but then my chronic migraines just got worse, so I wouldn't be able to handle the high pitched noises. So if I do ever end up getting birds, I'm gonna get doves! C:

naww, thats too bad we've hand raised a bunch of cockatiels and they were all quite good.
yeah doves are a good quiet option, kinda sucks that that happened and you can have many other birdies

Yeah, I love the sound of doves. I had them when I was a kid, except we would let them fly around outside, so they got taken by hawks and the like. I've missed having them ever since cx their noises are so calming and aaaa! But yeah, I do eventually want to be able to get other types of birds, I'm not sure what though

yeah id look into the more quieter type. or maybe even ones that mimic, just gotta teach them quieter or nicer calls

yeah xD we had a really nice cockatoo when i was younger, he was really quiet for a cockatoo, he mainly said stuff like toast xD

Yeah he was rescued by my mum, he had a condition that made him loose his feathers and he pulled the rest of them out himself.
But he was a pretty good cockatoo. We could leave his door open and he'd stay in there and just request toast xD

Most small parrots you can do that with, you just have to remember that birds can be very protective of their owners they bond with when they get of maturity and that can be more deadly the bigger the bird.

It's because of becoming sexually mature they try and find and claim a mate and get protective over them. And can act out at other people usually ones that live with other birds arnt as bad cause they know what is human and what is their own species. But it's something that a lot of people don't realise and it ends up with them giving up the bird cause of it

They are XD out cockatoo Max, pa was her second owner and had her almost all her life but she still gives him a few nips every now and again XD and she lives in an aviary outside so she knows what she is

it doesnt help that she doesnt like girls cause her first owner was a little girl who teased her a bit causing max to bite her and it scared the little girl and she ripped her finger away pulling the cage off what it was sitting on traumatising max.

I've had a really bad rash for 2 days straight now, it's not fun lol
A part of my skin would start burning and be all itchy, so I would rub it or scratch it (I know I'm not supposed to, it just gets really intense) so it would get red and irritated and welts would form and it would burn more.
Last night my back had like 3 huge patches of welts that basically covered my ENTIRE back and i felt like someone poured gasoline on me and lit me on fire.

just stay calm ^^ im sure its just a reaction. i mean one big area of dumping crap from your body (dead cells and what not) is near the throat so it might just be that which is causing the sore throat
