Character Name: Dax
Character Species Combination: Lynx lynx/Corvus monedula (Eaurasian Lynx/Jackdaw)
Rank: Young Gryphon.
Gender: Female.
Clan: Oisean

Personality: Dax is fun loving and not really ready to grow up. Her Uncle was always strict and not terribly loving, though she loves him dearly despite this. She dislikes conflict and does not make the sort of warrior he had hopes to mold her into, to make up for the failure her mother had been. More below.

My second character for : (Which you should join, by the way. Just saying.) She was created a while ago during my other characters Young Gryphon challenge as a filler Skekrill gryph. I liked her a lot and so decided to run with her design. (Here first incarnation: [link] )

So, this is Dax. She was un-named until about an hour ago when I was putting the spots on her face. A million billion points to anyone that gets the reference, you are my hero. We can be nerds together for all time.

Her forground wing is not drawn in, just incase that isnt clear. Folded wing length is fadey and on the other side. By Black-out wing type, I mean that I am lazy and will be filling her wings in totally, true black after the cluster fuck of markings that are Pasquale's wings.

Tried a more structured sort of ref-sheet this time around, not sure about it as I dont have complex characters...ever and so don't have much to fill all the cubby space with. Did a little size chart and included Pasquale in there for kicks, since Dax could never take a 6 foot tall Muskateer on her own. They're badass.

Dax, though a proud Skrekrill, is what her Uncle would call "Soft-brained". She has no love for combat and has infact bungled multiple attempts at impressing anyone in the Gunna gang, to her Uncle's chagrin. Her mother was never an ace at using the sense the god's gave a billy goat and so when she chose a mate it was an unwise and widely regarded, idiotic move. He was a Jackdaw/White tiger gryph, one of those Twistadoodle ninnies, Dax's Uncle would later tell her at great length. She consorted with the plant-brained dolt and they produced a single chick. He, of course, being the shiftless, Twistaloop lay-about that he was, returned to the forest to be friend to all the woodland creatures, or whatever it is that those muck-nosed, mud-squatters get up to leaving Dax's mother to care for a screeching whelp.

When she died, by flying into a tree I might add, Dax's Uncle, well past his prime and with no living children,(All given to Maud in all his wisdom) took in the last of his blood relatives to continue their line. Rough and never impressed he has never broken her kind spirit, although there is a lot of fight left in him still!

Wow, totally channled her Uncle there haha. Ended up being less about Dax, so to clarify, she is clever enough to joina gang but has not desire to as she does not enjoy fighting or roving or raiding. She takes after the Twistoult and is interested in how things work more than combat.

Chachacha.

Ps. Her little tail sticks up like that 99% of the time. Pops right up through her folded wings.
