The manga is pretty cool, a lot of things they didn't show in the anime like Undertaker's eyes and then turns out to be evil! So awesome!

It surprised me as well because when Grell realized undertaker was a shinigami he didn't go all evil and he can't hide a facade anymore because everyone now knows he is a reaper...well I guess it could work out in someway
