There were so many people there with their kids pushing all over (it was a free admission day at the zoo, so everyone and their mother's turned out), that I wasn't sure how any of the pics were going to come out. I was pleasantly surprised.

Thanks. I was really fortunate with the timing of the entire encounter. Usually, the best you get is seeing a peacock with it's feathers spread out. It's not often you see one in flight like this.

Thanks. Heh. I had never seen them like this before, so it was quite a nice encounter to come across. I'll be sure to remember not to dress up as a peacock anytime soon in the springtime.
