*smiles* Yeah, with that squinty look to his face, he does indeed look thirsty.
Thanks for the comment and sorry for the slow reply. July was a busy month for me and I got a bit behind on these things.

Heh. Indeed, they do. Unfortunately, there's hasn't been enough snow this year for some multiple trips, to see what other adorable positions I could capture pictures of.
Thanks for the fav and glad you liked the pic.

Hmm this year seems to be relatively snowless. In Prague there was snow just for 4-5 days. I used one of them to go photograph wolves in zoo. I have to pick some good pictures yet.

We finally got some snow here, but now the temperature took a nose-dive, down to 4°F ( -15.5°C ), and that's before the wind is factored in. So, a trip to the zoo isn't likely for a little while yet. I hope you had good luck, getting some nice pics yourself.

Lovely kitty....but how did you manage to take this shot? It looks like you are a bit too close to a 400 lb. cat with claws and 2" teeth...
O.

Heh. Thanks. I'm glad you like the pic.
As for how I took it, that's the magic of zoos, where you can get a lot closer than anyone might think sane out in the open.
It also helps to have a nice zoom feature on the camera that helps bring things in closer. I was about 30 feet away when taking this picture.

Yeah, but Winter is c..c..coolldddd... Every morning for nearly 2 weeks now, has been below 10F (-12C). I need some nice tiger fur to keep me warm. *shivers*

Thanks. I'm glad that you liked it.
I think the contrast of sun and shadow is what really helps to make the tiger stand out, where his coloration shows nicely against the white of the snow. Either way, I really like the way this one came out.

*smiles* Thanks. It's amazing how much the expression makes the pic sometimes. And how much a Tiger can seem to enjoy the cold and snow.

Exactly. Seeing as people more over think of jungles when they hear Tiger.

Heh. Agreed. But when I see a tiger in the snow, it somehow just seems more natural to me... like that's where they belong.
