solar eclipse hype! I saw the post on the front page of r/minecraft and couldn't resist the urge to draw this weird impromptu one-layer painting as fast as possible. Sssso i took a few hours after getting home from eclipse-watching to do this :0
TIL totality is jaw-droppingly amazing and 99% can't even compare. And TIL I can't draw totality skies, only night skies ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I saw some portion of that eclipse, I was not in the good path, the clouds weren't in the way at least.

Haha it's totally worth seeking out a 100% totality one sometime if you get the chance! Totality is...surreal in a way that can't really be experienced with even 99%. 11/10 worth several hours' car trip :'D

eyy, looks great! I love the perspective and the lighting in this piece. your Minecraft people look amazing as always!
only thing I'd have to say is that the perspective is a bit odd in the upper parts since even though it's converging to a single point it's.... squarish instead of circular (I can't explain my words well I apologise) and is kinda jarring but if it's intentional because Minecraft, then disregard my nitpicking (I do that a lot so apologies if I'm overdoing it)
sO ANYWAY I LOVE THIS PIECE I LOVE THE PERSPECTIVE COLOURS AND VALUES ARE 10/10

oh yeah now that i'm not very sleep deprived I can definitely see what you're talking about there! I did try to curve everything up at the borders but i was like "eh screw this it's gonna take too much effort" and i just left it like the lazy asshole i am ᕕ༼⌐■-■༽ᕗ and don't worry any cc is always appreciated
