I take it that you didn't care for the casting choice. Originally, I was going to keep my mouth shut, as I don't want to be slandered as a "racist;" but, their casting choice did come off as very political. Was Halle any good as a singer and actress?

Yes, the actress is named Halle Bailey. If she is a legitimately good actress, I would support her; however, I doubt that is why Disney chose her. If Disney disney did not want to cause a stir, they would have chosen a Caucasian actress, preferably Danish. Did the original author, Hans Christian Andersen, ever describe Ariel by her race? I will agree with you, this new trend of "reverse" racism is getting way out of hand and is absurd.

Posting just to say I am glad you made this without attacking people like I've seen other artists do. I may not agree with the casting choice and definitely hate the hypocritical reverse racism towards redheads that I see going on in Hollywood, but that's no reason to not appreciate beautiful art especially when you seem to have made this for people's enjoyment and not to spite people.

Both animation and live action ariels are BOTH very good interpretations of the character, which is a bit like what happened with aquaman, not to mention this race swap thing happened before, remember that team aqua in the og ruby and sapphire were white, the remakes made them like Polynesian, so yeah, this new ariel is a bit like them, not to mention, this will make them like another aqua themed princess: moanna
