There is no "REQUIREMENT that it has to be systematic oppression. If someone treated my mother with disrespect or even attacked her because of the color of her white skin, they are racist. When i read a comment from a person on twitter saying "How bad does your life need to be for a black person to want to marry and have children with a white person?" THAT IS RACIST! (yes someone actually said that)
Being hateful of ANY RACE is racism. There is no exceptions. Saying that white people cannot be victims of racism is a great form of discrimination and in itself is actually pretty damn racist.
Your free to not believe me. But this is just one of my biggest peeves and I find it very oppressive to people who have nothing to do with their ancestry or their countries history.
What about Jews? Not only did they deal with racism against other white people the Germans, they also according to history they were Slaves in Egypt from 200 - 400 years. This mind set is not helping our country. In order to stop racism we need to treat everyone EQUALLY with respect no matter their race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.
I'm very passionate about this because all my life i felt like I was never white or black. and as i got older and I noticed that blacks and whites had this issue in our country I didn't understand why until i matured. Now it just gives me a heavy heart when i see either side treat the other with any hate or disrespect and would often cry for them.
Sorry for the long speech. I know most people these days don't want open discussion or to have their minds changed from what they have conformed to already. If you still disagree feel free to dire guard my message. I just hope that you wont treat modern day as if blacks are still slaves today. We aren't. There are plenty of black people with fantastic jobs and are privileged and well off, because either they or their parents, or grand parents worked REALLY hard to make their families well off. I'm envious and hope i can take advantage of our capitalist country and make my family secure as well for their futures.

After all Disney Claimed its new movies would "respect" the culture of each each setting,"Updating to them with modern Progressive values" and in that vein they went out their way to make the Cast of Aladdin and apparently now Mulan(as well as most of the voice actors of the new Lion king Movie) "people of Color",casting almsot entirely Asian actors,yet that wasn't good enough. The same people mindlessly praising the appropriation of A white red headed Character were the same ones who were completely raged that a white prince character a small role as a suitor for Jasmine,as if the existence of a white character in Arabia was some sort of attack,of course they had no problem with Black characters in 1700 France in Beauty and the Beast. These are also the same people who bullied and sent threats to a child actress for playing the white daughter of Tony Stark in the MCU,demanding that Tony's daughter be played by a black actress and the same people who were outraged that the "Ancient one" was played by a white women instead of an Asian in Doctor Strange. This is of course not even getting into the black washing of dozens of established white, red headed charters like Jimmy Oslen,Mary Jane,Star Fire,Black Canary,Hawk Girl,Tress Merigold,April O Niel,Wally West and dozens of other established red headed White Charterers in media,Shows,and comics. Even Historical mythos characters like Achilles,Zeus,Friar Tuck and Guinevere(also a red head who name means Beautiful White) were played by black actors in Netflix shows and the Like.
Its totally blatant Hypocrisy,Those on the "Progressive" side can do anything they want and defame,threaten ,demand and bully companies and actors to black wash and the media and art communities just support them totally but when people including black and Asians complain about these outright appropriation of beloved Characters for Woke points,they,inducing the black and Asian people are called Racists,Trolls,Haters,White Supremacist and backward Idiots by those "progressives" who get triggered if a video game about medieval Europe doesn't have a black women Queen.
Now I have no Problem casting appropriate Ethnic character for a Movie or even making some Characters race change if their actors skill fits (like Nick Fury) but records show that Disney initially considered casting a red headed girl but influence from "woke" actors made them chose the actress they did who is a new actor with little to no experience in movies so the only reason she was cast was because of her race. To me all these live action Disney movies are soulless cash grabs playing with nostalgia with a chance for Disney to gain brownie points with "progressives" but while a mere cash grab for Disney,these movies will bring consequences. Now that there is a black Ariel what will happen to the red Headed Ariel? You know the same people claiming her race change is great and wonderful will be the ones demanding she only be depicted as a black girl now. That depiction of her as she was for 30 years will be racist and rejecting the dignity of the black actress. I wouldn't be surprised if in Disneyland and all its shows and books began phasing out Red head Ariel in favor of the new depiction all to appease a Mob of hypocritical,racists,authoritarians that are our current Progressive moment.
As for the Art itself,It is well drawn and beautiful out of Context and Would I gladly favorite it were it not for in Context,it being the Appropriation of a Beloved Icon by a soulless mega corporation at the behest of Racists.

I love this! I don't understand the fuss about the new Ariel being black, it's not like the old one will just disappear. Both are beautiful and both deserve a chance to make little girls feel good about themselves, redheaded Ariel already changed red hair from being something to tease about to being something considered beautiful and I think black girls deserve the same, heck ALL people deserve the same.
