I DON'T LIKE THIS. But I suppose it's better than just submitting sketches all the time! I need to do more things like this if I'm to actually improve at all!

I wish I was the sort of person who'd developed a bunch of 'OCs' during my teens or whatever so then I could draw and paint them now! I didn't, though; instead, I just came up with alien races and human characters for my games... So I struggled to come up with something to actually draw here. It's a generic dragon head sort of thing with no story behind it; nothing interesting at all!

The main point of it was to practice various drawing and painting techniques that I've been learning about over the last few weeks, but which I've yet to put to any actual use. I didn't want to use a complex subject because I'm not used to painting like this and assumed I'd get frustrated quickly and want to give up... which did happen! But since it was only something simple, I was able to push myself to actually complete it.

It took something like two hours in total, mostly due to unfamiliarity and procrastinating! I like this painting style, though I need a lot of practice!
