Description
This is some kind of woodlouse-like monster that would probably evolve from Peatle! I can't say I'm entirely satisfied with it... I like woodlice a lot, but this design isn't exactly inspired or anything. It's also bland colour-wise; there's not enough variety, and it comes across as dull and- ...I could criticise my own work all day, yes. o_OI might improve it later, anyway... if I have any ideas.
I haven't decided on a name, so I've used 'Cavelouse' for now, which isn't exciting or clever or anything!
Other possibilities include:
Mineralouse (silly)
Gravelouse (gravel + louse; looks like 'grave louse' though)
Pebblouse (pebbles are too small for this?)
Slatore (slater + ore; bad in so many ways)
Things involving words like 'isopod' or cave/mine/defence/'tank'... Or something so clever that I have yet to think of it!
Anyway, it'd probably be an Insectoid/Earth Transient form!

EDIT: I've included a completely different possibility for its design! o_O
Its head is more like its prevolution's, and its colours are more vibrant... I'm unsure whether that adds visual interest, or just looks clownish. Either way, clearly this design needs work!

These are my favorite of the lot! I like the left one, but that's just me and my bias to earthy tones. The more colorful 'un's still muted enough to be pleasing, though.

I find this to be particularly striking. There's something very intimidating and sinister about it, in my opinion. I really love those red eyes.

You should totally call it Ptirocktera from Rock and Phthiraptera, or something, yes. o.o Since that's such a self-evident name, everyone'd get that!
I was actually thinking of a design, something like 'Pyramite' which'd be like a Mite with a Pyramid motif, probably on its back or something, which'd also be Earth/Insectoid. I wonder whether it'd be in the same family, hmm. Or somethings silly like 'Fleagypt', or 'Sant', those all would be Insectoid/Earth with desert motifs. 
Anyway, I do agree it'd be interesting if it visually looked more like it represented earth, but I'd not know how you'd do that... It'd be easy to say to make it look 'rocky', but then it's not easy to say how, of course... Maybe a more craggy shell, or something? Anyway, I like how you're having so many ideas already!
