p.s. for PS 7 problem (works with other versions too): if you select the layer above and hit ctrl+E (layer > Merge down) you can merge the selected layer and the one below that

hahaha...true...i dont even risk if it isnt set up by me and against ppl i want to participate(usually i know i'm gonna win) but i have no chance against the big guys and what i dont like about HxH is that they hardly give worth stats(like in rank etc) and only the 1st place wins something...thats what i dont like about them
