If anybody have problems with step #5 selecting layers to merge it, you can select one layer and press "ctrl+e", and the selected layer will merge with the layer just below.

I haven,t tried this on my iMac at this moment I am using my iPad,but all other tut,s are in focus

did you try to let it load for a good time...sometimes even after loading the whole image you gotta let it load more because of the pixel load. since the image is really big it may take more time on some net conections...on mine it works great
