Description
This was a winning design for a contest in worth1000 were the objective was to make a photomanipulation using the word of an animal. In my case i used the word and animal 'OCTOPUS'.I hope you like it.
Will also be participating in the contest 'bring your type to life'
(i hope they'll accept this as an entry even though i didn't use any existing 'font'.

i cleaned out the background and used the puppet warp in Photoshop cs5 to shape the tentacles.

This is some of the best typography I've ever seen! It looks so natural, and you combined the different stock elements so well that I initially assumed it was a single painting (a very realistic one), not a collection of separate elements. I've sure this was extremely time-intensive, but if you had the time to do it, you could probably make a whole book of these (maybe the alphabet?). Your water manipulations in general are extremely lifelike. Amazing, creative piece!
