Model: TigerThey never look happy, I just wanted to capture that in a photograph... The leaves were all dieing, so I figured I'd focus on them and that cage... making sure the tiger was still in the background.

Its like the fact the tiger is caged has caused it to be separated from the world. That's why he's out of focus. Plus, a tiger in a cage is not a real tiger. What we see is just a skewed (blurred) picture of reality.
Course, that's just me.
