Description
Model: My little sister GillianI was working at the Barn this past weekend, and Caitlin and I decided it would be nice for my sister to come up and ride...
There have been rumours that the Barn she works at are haunted, and there have been times that very odd things have happened... I wanted to capture that in a picture, I think I did that some what well...

Love the subject, love the composition.
One thing that sticks out for me is that it's rotated a slight bit left. It's probably only 1-2 degrees, but that little bit really sticks out to me. So the top of the door leans left, made more obvious by the bright outdoors beyond.
If it wasn't for that, you'd probably have a here.

I`ll reiterate some of the above. Keen focus on the subject. Also I`m not much of a photo critic, but I really like this.

I was surprised at how well it all worked out, I was kind of scared that it wouldn't work... because I didn't have a trip-pod... I did two shots, one with my sister, Caitlin, and a horse going out for a ride... but I like this one much better and besides the other one was blurry

I like how this picture makes your eyes go straight into the center, as if the lines are helping out this picture tremeadously.
Though I might have suggested a different view, maybe you should have tried shooting this picture from ground level. This would have maybe added some suprising results, making this picture just a bit different. though what i feel that is lacking from this picture is some grain. Although I normally dont suggest this, I really like how grain looks like it b+w shots.
By the way what was the ISO and the shutter speed on this pic?

I figured that the element of line would be the helper in his picture
I think your right about the grain, it would have added a little to it... I was using a digital but I had set the ISO to 80 and the shutter speed was 1/10. I'm going to shoot some b+w shots today, at different shutter ISO's and see the differene that you were talking about (that is if my digital fakes it well enough).
I was thinking about what you said about a different view, because my sister is shorter I should have made it more level... but since I didn't have a tri-pod and was working at a lower speed... I want the full support that I could to keep the camera steady. I agree very much with what you are saying, tahnk you for a wonderful comment

Oh no problem... though you held that with your hands at 1/10th speed? Wow thats pretty good... I can barely hold 1/20 still

I was leaning aginst a horse... the fact that it's so dark I think hides the fact that it's kind of blurry
Still thank you for a real comment I'm tired of the... WOW nice shot man, I like when people actually tell me what is wrong or what they think makes it a nice shot... Like so many of you kind people out there

Wow, that's really good. I like how the barn is really dark but the entrance illuminates it just enough and casts a really good silhouette of your sister. Very nice photo!

i woud agree that it is fairly ghostly.. but something i noticed looking at the image.. the corregated metal roof of the horse shed looks like wings spread out from the person.
i'd say it was more angelic, by the way i love the photo.
