Inspired by the "Leave The Lights On" pictures draws every year to protest Earth Hour (apparently he's not one for quiet contemplation.)Description reposted from my FA account: Ignoring the whole "global warming" debate for a moment, this is something I always wondered about whenever I read an article about Earth Hour. You always hear about one guy in one neighborhood protesting the idea by not only running every light in his house for the entire hour, but digging out Christmas lights and other such tomfoolery as to make his house visible from orbit if the laws of physics would allow it.
Now, what happens to his neighbors when they try to sleep during that hour for whatever reason? Furthermore, I don't know how good people in other countries are but it's been my experience that us Americans CANNOT keep track of time for any reasonable length without a watch on our wrists, a cellphone in our pocket, or a clock in every room. Take that as you may.

Oh wait...
On second thought, I protest the use of indestructible clothing by people whose activities would otherwise leave their apparel in a far more interesting state (i.e. superheroes, action heroes, and the cast of Gilligan's Island - c'mon, they've been stranded on that little island for YEARS! There is no way that the Howels brought enough clothing to keep everyone from ending up wearing rags and tatters rom general wear and tear from exploration and hyjinx)!
