Here's a preview of my fanfic, "Worlds Collide".

"Somewhere from the darkness of the cave, Ciara could feel the shadows watching her every move. She now realized how stupid this all was, but for some reason she kept moving towards the light glittering at the end of the tunnel she now crawled through. Everywhere her hand touched was cold and damp, but this didn't bother her. It was like she was being drawn to this strange light unaware of anything else. As she approached the source of this mysterious light, she found herself in an open room with walls covered in strange markings of unknown origin. Her focus was then drawn to the center of the room. Here, a single beam of light stretched from floor to ceiling and in the center of this beam was the light source, a glowing stone with carvings on it that resembled a sleepy face.
Ciara walked slowly forward as if she were in a trance and stretched out her hand to grasp the stone when, from the tunnel she had come from came a familiar voice, "Get away from there! You don't know what it might do." Lucas emerged from the darkness and watched her to see if she had even heard him. Ciara snapped out of her trance and looked at him confused. " It......it was like it was....calling me, telling me to touch it."
