page 02: [link]Welcome~ I present to you the first 20 pages EVER of "SLIGHTLY MAGIC" the comic.
I've been working on this for the last 3 - 4 weeks and my rough pencils have finally been completed. I've decided to upload the roughs because I'm terribly excited about what has been done! This is the first personal project i've ever come close to completing... and it fills me with utter joy to see my characters come to life on a page.
I've learnt a lot while working on this project... and realised that I don't know a lot of things as well. So I hope you can bear with anything that seems amateurish. I will get better in time.
I'm not sure when I would be able to completely ink and color it as I will be starting my new job on Monday... but I will steadily do it and upload the completed work to my main gallery.
Until then, I hope you would enjoy this little introduction to the world inside my head. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

hey, thanks for posting the roughs in the fist place! i don't know about you, but i find things loose a lot of vitality and energy once you start applying inks and what not. good luck with this! can't wait to see how the final version turns out.
ah, so looking forwards to reading this. your charters and strongly realized, surreal world of theirs seem perfectly suited for a comic.
only thing to nit pick would be the vertical outlines of the buildings. seeing as we're looking at them straight on, they should be straight.

Woah! You really did a splendid job on your comic, Pan-pan. A lot of effort in the design and layout, and the story is flowing nicely too. I really wish you are a comic artist, then I could enjoy reading frequently lol ...

*Deep breath* OK, I'm going to give you come critical critique here. The vertical lines need to be straight up and down. When I do comics with buildings I use a "t-square" to make sure every thing is straight up and down when and where it should be.

(I'll have you note that, because it IS a crappy example, the lines do lean to the right a bit. But I inked them by hand. My mistake. DX)
OK, now for the gushing of LOVE!
First of all scene the very first time I saw your art I knew your comic, should it ever come, would be my favorite of all time. XD
The cars here are quite good looking, even in the rough, and I'm quite impressed with the buildings. They all have a lot of weight to them! Maybe living in a city with them tall things helps, because they look good.
I'm also in love with the font you used! *Wiggles* It's just PERFECT!

I have always, ALWAYS wanted to see you do a comic since I first saw the amazing characters you have.
After all the waiting, I am not the least bit disappointed. It looks great! Pacing is good, story has some pretty scary moments and some pretty humorous ones, and even though it is a short tale you manage to make the character all this is happening to seem likable and interesting enough that the reader is invested in what happens to him. Not an easy task. Well done!

Currently i've read up for the 14th page and what i've seen so far i've liked. The overall pace per page is pretty good, it flows quickly and keeps the tension going.
Also i've totally had the underwater dream before xD where i'm in the ocean drowning and then i find that i can breathe underwater.
