Description
So here is The Fool from my 3 part tarot card set, which was a project for school. I decided to do character oriented cards, something that I'd like. And for this card I wanted reds and purples, royal colours.
This card I had the most fun with because I actually got to use one of my characters from way back, Jess.

Aaah thankyou! I seem to have managed to get it well enough in my illustration then. It's quite old, I figure I probably did do some research at the time.

I'm just gonna say that Fool is like a doll..again. The lines on his face may be something else but perhaps I get the feeling that he was 'made' to look like a human. Perhaps it is referenced that the fool is everyone, hense it is an embodied figure of a human. There seems to be a play of vibrant colors that is reds/ blues/gold. Yet, you add just a little bit of a greenblue color on the ears, just a little play that you have as well as to show a little playful yet rebellious side of him.
The clothes I thought were a good choice, a big cloak seems fitting with just a bit of design on his pants because he is a traveler, someone more nomadic rather than someone stationary.
The expression itself makes me go a little back and forth on this one. Cause his eyes are wide, they give him a younger, fresher look and his slightly parted lips gives him something between he just asked something or he's about to ask something. The color choices for hair and eyes reflects again with the overall colors you used and brings in that he must be a playful sort of person. Or innocently mischievious.
Suggestion though : red on red is nice but maybe cause its my monitor again, but I thought there might be a little more play on color patterns for fool. or at least possibly a brighter blue, or slight highlights. But that's just me.
Overall composition: Good good.
