Description
Most of these sketches done during loading times when testing games XD or waiting for builds and such.Down on the lower left is pk's new outfit, very navy themed, and some ugly disproportional stuff all over the place, and I'm really fond of that Dee/Dum pic on the lower right.

The usual, I hate to do it even with sketches, but stealing has become such a problem these days.
The images and characters belong to me, Stefanie Morin, and cannot be reproduced, altered, or taken.

Yeaaa I love these sketch clumps! the 2 little PK girls in the bottom right are very cute! Only if I looked like that, i'd get away with so much evil.

Either in photoshop, open the Animation window, and it's really fairly easy to learn. You edit the layers for the frames pretty much.
Or you can try getting the program ULEAD, where you can set the frame speeds too.

i hate it that you just crack these out during work... youre supposed to pretend that they arent just biro on lined paper and that you dont just effortlessly crap gold... you know, so the rest of still feel like we're doing ok.

honestly? there is nothing you can do about the stealing deal.
unfortunately, unless you actually draw a few illustration character mock up sheets, and then bring them to the patent office to pay for the copyrights, your ideas will never belong to you, so if someone steals your idea, you'd better do it better then them.

Eh I'm still testing video games, gotta pay the rent and all? I get enough breaks to draw in between and my team is super fun so it makes it alright. I have some freelance commissions here and there to keep me busy on the side, but apart from that, all I've been finding is graphic design jobs, which bores me a little too much. It's sad eh DX? I know how it feels, there's a bunch of us still stuck in the situation.

When i went to sandiago comicon, i saw some "pros" that were seriously not all that, but because they know people they got in.
So ho in the hel am i supposed to just "know" someone?
I guess i could start going on blogs, but i don't even know were to begin for that.
Any'hou, i'm sooo sick of not working in my field, and as for commissions, i never seem to get any. maybe a charge too much...how do you charge when you do commissions? do you ever give your original with it?

Ye commissions are hard to land, I sometimes get the most random stuff and it's so hard to figure out what to charge! I get a lot of bussiness card ones too, which just aren't as fun anyway.
I'm trying to make contacts right now anyway, it's really what workes best, and sometimes people just get lucky or are at the right place at the right time.
Usually I charge around 80-90$ for a full character CG, and then add onto that for background, extra characters, lots of details and whatnot. Something like that. I'm planning on going to otakuthon this year and offering cheap sketches and chibis to people for cheap, see if I can land some stuff there too.
