On the right below the "similar deviations" list there is a button that says "Download Image" with a green arrow next to it. It should also say the type of image and size under it. Click that, and a new window will show up with the complete list. I was so confused by this when I first got on deviantart too!

Very usefull indeedious.
For me, im jealous easily and i get put down easily if i see someone better than me (Which is like every minute, Cause im a shite artist) But anyway, Your right. For the manga artists its better to study realism first, because then you have an understanding of how the body is, etcetc. But one thing that bugs me about dA is that the majority of the reaaaaaaaaaaally good artists dont take some time to help the less talented, Or by looking down at them. Im rambling now aint i? ;_; Ah well. Im off. -salute-
Oh and awesome wisdom. -Fave-

Yeah, I do get jealous too of other artists too. I think I should add another little tidbit that patience is key, and just to be happy what you have so far and take baby steps making your skills better and better.
Thanks :3

Yay, finally a tutorial that helps with digital AND traditional art.
I found this really helpful (inspired right now to go and draw something else!) especially number 8. I have a tendency to work too quickly.
Thankies for sharing your wisdom.

It's funny because I just, last night, literally decided to pick up a pencil and draw something for the flat out first time in my entire life... the only base I've got is watching this friend of mine draw for about a year now, so I vaguely know how the lines go down and fit together but... my faces suck ass. Reading, yeah, that could help.
Thanks.

Well, it's a start. I sucked ass when I got to drawing people and it took a while before I realized that maybe I should do those circles and lines first before building heads and bodies.
There's a tip ten but everyone knows this already: keep on drawing and practicing.
