Another great tutorial! Thank you for posting this! I've always been leery of using makeup on my brows because I can never make them look natural with a brow pencil. I really appreciate this and am going to try using the eye shadow instead. I really love these basic tutorials you're posting. Very helpful!

Oh, I know what you mean. I've been drawing on my eyebrows for awhile now and in the beginning I made my share of mistakes.
At one point, I had sharpie eyebrows, it was quite embarrassing. lol. But with a few simple and well explained steps and A LOT of practice, you'll get the hang of it. To get natural looking brows with makeup is very easy and as you see, you don't need a lot of products, you just need to learn not to get too heavy handed while applying it to your brows. If you keep it light and create soft strokes between the little bald spots on your brows, you're in the clear! Also I recommend to step away from the mirror a few times when you do your brows, I've gotten close up and personal with myself and when I stepped back, my brows were totally uneven and looked super weird. haha.
Once again, thank you. I'm glad that you found my tutorial helpful, it means a lot to me.
Do you have any requests on what kind of tutorials I should do in the future?

Thank you so much for the information! I've actually been practicing a bit today, trying it out. I've got a ways to go. I'm mostly just trying to find the right color for me at the moment. I have the small Urban Decay Naked pallet, the matte one, and I think Naked 2 might be a good color for me to use. I think I need to maybe get a new brush though, because mine are all very thick, which is making it hard to do the thin end of my eye brow. I'm also having a bit of a hard time making the bottom line look sharp without making it look sharpie-like. I think I might need to get a lighter shade of bencil (or a lighter touch when applying it). I definitely appreciate the tips you offered! Stepping back from the mirror really makes a difference.
I'd really love to see a tutorial on how to make a classic cat eye with liner. I have a hard time getting a sharp point and making both of the eyes even (one point is always a little longer or tilted at a different angle).
I'd also really love a tutorial about skin care or priming before applying makeup. I notice that you have beautiful skin and your makeup always looks so even, like it was airbrushed. I'd love to know your pre-makeup prep!
Again, thank you for much for both the tips and the tutorials. They are a huge help!

To find the perfect color for your brows you should really just grab yourself a brow pencil and a brow powder kit. Brow kits will take the work out of guessing which color is right for you, because they are specifically designed to correspond to the natural range of hair colors. When looking for the right color, just look for a color that is a shade or two lighter than your natural hair color, or if you dye your hair, the color you have at the time. It will seriously make your life WAY easier then trying to guess which eyeshadow palette would work better for you skin tone/ hair color. Plus, I think eyebrow kits last longer and don't smudge as easily on your brows if your sweating or whatnot, eyeshadows could always smear and that would be pretty embarrassing. I should know, it's happened to me a few times before. lol.
As for the brush, an angled brush natural/synthetic is the best brush to use for this job. It's small and it's easy for handle, the angled tip is great for creating short strokes to fill in your brows, then you could use the rest of the brush to spread the powder around to the rest of your brow. I definitely recommend using this brush and you could find them for super cheap as well. As for creating a softer looking line, you could also try using the angled brush and the powder, instead of the brow pencil. There times where I don't even use the brow pencil when I'm in a rush or too lazy to do them super perfect. But practice does make perfect, so just keep trying and over time you'll see realize what works for you.
It's not a problem. I'm always here to help if anything.
Ah, that's a common problem with eyeliner, especially if you're using liquid eyeliner. To be honest, no matter how hard I try, I can't even get them to be perfectly even! Getting them close as possible is my mission, because there's just no way in hell anyone could make them perfect. lol. But I will definitely make a tutorial on that and may other styles of eyeliner as well.
My pre-makeup prep is nothing special. My skin gets super dry in the winter and kind of oily in the summer, so I'm either shinny or have dry patched skin around my nose, chin, or forehead. I still haven't found anything great that works for my oily skin, but when it comes to my dry winter skin, I use Vaseline coca butter. I don't use a lot of it, just a tap of my finger is enough to cover my whole face without making it all sticky. And to my surprise, it makes my skin really supple, soft and glowy! As for priming, I'm still not sure about all that. I haven't been priming, but recently I did buy NYC's Skin Smooth Perfecting Primer, when I put it on it makes my skin soft and super shiny. I think it has little glitter dust in there or something but once you put foundation over it, you don't notice it all. Though I have seen my pores become less noticeable, which is awesome. I think I need to do more experimenting with primers before I create a tutorial and such for that.
Ah, it's cool. I'm glad that I could help.

Thank you so much for all the tips! I really appreciate them and I've definitely been utilizing your tutorials. I took the time to go step by step through the different tutorials (sculpting, eyebrows, and the smokey eye) before going out for a girls night and I a LOT of compliments on my make up! I emailed the link to your profile to my friends later, so they could check them out too.
