The reasons stated are so blatantly stupid that I really don't need to point it out to anyone with a brain that the stamp was just another OP for the user to senselessly complain about a long gone cartoon, and I think it's just because people still praise it(for good reason though), hence the "overrated" statement.
(There is zilch that is even vaguely original or exceptional concerning his villainy and evilness compared to other saturday morning cartoon villains. And villains of his type are so overdone that nowadays, they're prone to parody.)
Yeah, maybe it's because that's what Villains are made to do, be evil. XD
Let's not forget he's one of the few who actually succeeded in his ambition, he just had Sonic to deal with all after the fact. Screw the haters, his praises are well warranted.

You ask this question and yet, none of the points you listed have nothing to do with his achivements, which I listed before, these are literally things you dislike the actual character for.
Here's an example, I've never had a problem with Robotnik's design accept the one for ASOTH, but as of late, Eggman has been a bad villain in the game, the main reason being he's been turned into a clown who can't even be taken seriously. His plan failed in Colors way before you finished the game, and he didn't do anything to fix this, but just kept harvesting wisp, plus the fact he even built a theme park in the first place, when he's built space station and many fleets of ships without having to trick people that he's doing good, or having to read an instruction manual for his own shit.
Now, I look at your reasons for saying SATAM Robotnik isn't a good villain, but almost everything you dislike has nothing to do with this villainy, their your own personal dislikes about him. How does having Black and red eyes have anything to do with being a bad villain, or having a cone head? You got his hygiene up there, which I admit doesn't make him good villain, but it doesn't make him a bad one either, it's a detail. You might as well say Boogerman is a bad super hero just because he doesn't have good hygiene(look the game up if you never heard of it), as if cleaning up would solve anything, same going for Robotnik. Now Latso and Xanatos are good villains, but you're judging more on personal views of design rather then actions and achivements, and you seem to be ignoring them so you can talk about details about the character himself, when game Eggman has become completely incompetent.

Did you ever watch the show AT ALL? Dr. Robotnick's goal wasn't to turn the world into a "pollution-fest" wasteland. Dr. Robotnick was merely trying to simply conquer the planet and the only reason everything looked like a dark wasteland when he was through conquering it was because that was a mere side effect of the war and machinery that went into building Robotnick's empire which inevitably destroyed the environment surrounding it. Dr. Robotnick's goal was NEVER to plunge the world into a wasteland; he just wanted to see the world fall to his knees regardless of what toll it took on the environment and people.

What the fuck are you talking about? I never said anything about crows, germs, creepy crawlies, and all those other things being evil and I certainly never said anything about them being removed from existence (in fact, if they were removed then that would be very unbeneficial). Now your just pulling shit out of your ass because that HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT.
