The reasons stated are so blatantly stupid that I really don't need to point it out to anyone with a brain that the stamp was just another OP for the user to senselessly complain about a long gone cartoon, and I think it's just because people still praise it(for good reason though), hence the "overrated" statement.
(There is zilch that is even vaguely original or exceptional concerning his villainy and evilness compared to other saturday morning cartoon villains. And villains of his type are so overdone that nowadays, they're prone to parody.)
Yeah, maybe it's because that's what Villains are made to do, be evil. XD
Let's not forget he's one of the few who actually succeeded in his ambition, he just had Sonic to deal with all after the fact. Screw the haters, his praises are well warranted.

Yeah, 2 different villains, one being an actual villain, and the other being a joke.
As for Boom, Eggman should at least b like his comics counterpart, bu there's no excuse for nonsense like needing to read a manual for his own shit, giving a robot a name that has nothing to do with his what he does, and "evil ham".

Which I'm just going to say... I'm all for. Doofenshmirtz was hilarious. I loved him as a character. And if that's what they do for Eggman... go for it. So long as you at least make him a threat for the episode every so often. Don't let him just be a goldfish poop gang. That's just my one hope.

First of all, with all do respect, Doofenshmirtz is just there to be a clown, and is no way a villain or what any villain character should aspire to be. Quite honestly, the show itself is a rip-off of Jimmy Neutron and Dexter's Laboratory, and nowhere near as good.
ANYWAY! that other bit, about Eggman, he was hardly a real threat in 2 of the 3 latest games, and he doesn't even seem to be so in Boom either. This is literally just Doofenshmirtz. Sorry but this series was about being cool and kicking ass, and now it's all about pandering to the fanboys vision of what Sonic should be because they haven't found themselves a pair.

I disagree, Phineas and Ferb isn't a rip off of Dexter's Lab or Jimmy Neutron. At least directly. You could've said the same thing about Jimmy Neutron to Dexter, but it figured out how to do it's own thing from Dexter toΒ set itself apart. Same thing with Phineas and Ferb. I can also say that Doofenshmirtz wasn't the greatest villain., but darn it, was he a great character.
Technically, he was a bit of a threat in Colors and Generations. It's just that..Β there was next to no story for those games. He wasn't a threat in SLW, but in all honesty, I thought he was better as a character there. And really, Eggman hasn't been a threat since technically SA2. That was the lastr game aside from Colors that treated him like the Big Bad in his own regard. I just hope that in Sonic Boom they don't make him a Goldfish Poop Gang character. Like Team Rocket in the Pokemon anime. Don't make him like that. No. Bad. Not a good idea.
