i think vista glazz keeps the window transarent when maximized aswell.

Just get anti-tgtsoft's Vista patch, and extract the zip like you used too in XP. You'll get two Aero themes, but just double-click this theme's msstyles and apply.

ya so that didnt change anything at all! I even reopened it after changing and rebooting to be sure it was changed and it was and no changes were made!
Please give more thorough directions, as I believe I have done it all correct, checked files and seemed to be changed yet no glass maximization

yes, i am using ResHacker and Stirling(HexEditor).
