I sketched this out right after I saw Brave but took forever finishing it up. Though the movie wasn't perfect I still really enjoyed it, mainly because Merida and Elinor's relationship was so natural and easy to relate with. Mother/daughter angst totally had me tearbending all over the place, so I decided to do a little fan art.

The sketch of this was done entirely listening to one song, Noble Maiden Fair ([link] ), sung by toddler Merida and her mother. I really love that song. So beautiful.

Sorry, I got lazy and didn't feel like adding a BG. Anyway, I hope you like it!
