This is quite an original take on the depiction of Mew. I enjoy Mew's pose, how it seems to latch onto its tail as if it wants to form a bubble inside of its surrounding bubble.
The sense that Mew is in its own universe is interesting since Mew's habitat is somewhat of a mystery to the
Pokemon world.
I feel that while the bubble is great, the technique of its formation amazing, the color is too similar to Mew. It sort of draws attention off of Mew as well as blends in with the background which also includes the same colors. Matching color schemes are important in a drawing but there needs to be some variety or else all of it mixes together. It makes it hard for the main subject - Mew - to be distinctive.
I think that the way Mew was drawn is well done and the shading is beautiful, though it does make me wonder where the light is coming from that would make shadows on Mew.
All in all, I think this is a solid piece with a good feel of the Pokemon world.
