This is about a year old. I scanned it a few months ago and then forgot about it
. My take on Garuda.It was an experiment, really, that I'm somewhat pleased with. I wanted to use my colored inks, but since I only have blue, black, red and green, I decided to substitute the green-blue/teal with watercolors...
That didn't work out as nicely as the inks did, and which point i added colored pencil crayon shading. That didn't work well either! So I covered it up with copics, and added additional shading with the markers.
I inked with a crow quill, touched up the wing white with paint, and the gold is watered down gold acrylic on top a yellow copic base.
The colors are based off pics I've found, and he's green-blue because that's the color of the mask I referenced when I made a clay Garuda one in highschool :3

This comment scared me when I got to the terrible part XD. Someone got mad at me, once, saying my Garuda looked nothing like the true Garuda ;n;. All I know from looking for refs for this picture is there are a lot of versions/colors, and I kinda blended a few for this card.
