Colored, and it was fun. I'm happy with this picture, not because it's some masterpiece (it's not
), but because it's two characters that have been hopping in my mind for sometime that I can finally see in color

Chunk is based off of my Clown Loach, by the same name aka The Clown Loach of Love. XD
Tristam is loosely based off a Stellar's Jay. I keep calling him Sterellus in my mind as that would've been my first choice for his name.. except it's not a name I made up, but someone from Dragonlance did (I think..could be getting my sources mixed up, but I think there's a dragon named Sterellus somewhere in those books), so Tristan was my second choice.. but I looked up spelling variants and settled with Tristam

Photographs, and real life studies to get an understanding how light and shadow work on forms (Still got much more research to do in that area, too

This is just amazing. It's so fabulous how you take the littlest things, and then just do amazing things with them. The details in this are incredible. His face is utterly priceless. And I LOVE the poor little blue tail curled up there. Not to mention the drool-worthy hair! Wow, that's not easy.

It's all pencil crayons except for a bit of grey marker in Tristam's hair bits, and marker in other detail spots.. the blood and eyes.
