Ah, Colonel Autumn. In my opinion hes sympathetic, he doesn't follow President Edens genocidal orders. He'll use water to encourage recruitment among the Wastelanders. The Enclave may be 'evil' but they do have some sympathetic elements to them. Also you've done a fine job of drawing Autumn!Β

Excellent drawing; (!)
but I really don't understand why you had to kill him in the game, I mean he wasn't even evil! I can understand why players wouldn't side with Eden but why would Autumn be so hostile, especialy if he is against Eden? It doesn't really make much sense to me.

He killed dad, steals his project, and planned to poisons the wasteland. All this because he was ordered by a stupid computer we talked into blowing up.

Technically, dad killed himself trying to take autumn with him, and the supercomputer wanted to poison the wasteland.Β TheΒ Colonel wanted to use it as a propaganda tool.

I don't care if he killed Dad this guy was still a bad ass. Admit it he had to have been one of the coolest characters if not the best in the game next to dad, whom he killed to claim his rightful title.

guilhermehank [2012-05-13 17:38:06 +0000 UTC]
THat guy really pissed me off, it was because of that fucker that the father of The Lone Wander died...
And he MANAGED to survive the room full of radiation, using a combination of Rad-away and Rad-X....
I dont even stopped to talk with him, he deserved to die and soo I killed him.
Its funny because, his body was never found. He died then fell in that pit under the lab. Good ending for him.
But it would be even better if he turns in something like Frank Horrigan from Fallout 2, making a bigger challenger for the player.
Oh well, the pic is great !

that frank horrigan idea would be sweet, but then if you have fawkes, theres not much that can challenge you out in the wastes

guilhermehank In reply to chaos-sandwhich [2012-07-14 16:02:07 +0000 UTC]
Fawkes is almost unbeatable, he can survive a fat man explosion goddamn it.
But I like him soo I keep him, sometimes I dont but...oh well.
It would make senses, soo much radiation would mutate him into a freaky monster! And since he is from the Enclave, he would be just like Frank, a big mad patriotic monster that only you can defeat it.
Yeah...I hope that Fallout 4 have a great final boss.
Fallout 1 had The Master
Fallout 2 had Frank Horrigan
Fallout 3...aw...just a colonel. (they didnt really had one for me).
Fallout NV depends, if you fight against the Legion, there is a hard final boss for ya.
Fallout 4...Expecting something very great !
About teams...well, my team is unbeatable. I have Fawkes, Charon and Meatdog (I cant stand in separating with him...). And I agreed, it sort that takes away the fun.

chaos-sandwhich In reply to guilhermehank [2012-07-14 22:51:18 +0000 UTC]
perhaps thats why, his clarity of mind makes him focused and determined, it would certainly explain his superior skills to other mutants you encounter, although he health he posseses i will just put down to FEV test samples yeilding a particularly high quality result in this case

guilhermehank In reply to chaos-sandwhich [2012-07-14 23:05:34 +0000 UTC]
He is considerate a mutant between mutants, ironic ?
And I find funny as well the fact that he spent his entire mutant time in a cell in the vault and he have more skills.

chaos-sandwhich In reply to guilhermehank [2012-07-15 13:26:08 +0000 UTC]
haha that is interesting, and did they explain where his gatling laser came from?, maybe he took it i guess,
perhaos the FEV has som kind of instinctive aspect to it, like spiders know how to spin webs without learning it?
π: 0 β©: 1
guilhermehank In reply to chaos-sandwhich [2012-07-15 14:11:43 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, that FEV thing was never fully explained. We only know that mutates the being into a strong but dump as hell being.
And he didnt said where he got the gatling laser, my theory is that he stole from some Enclave Soldier at the Vault when they captured you.
π: 0 β©: 1
chaos-sandwhich In reply to guilhermehank [2012-07-15 14:22:36 +0000 UTC]
that makes sense, he could even have gained it by defeating an super mutant overlord too, there was one thing that confused me, and thats how certain things about FEV in fallout 1, and 2 link to three, but thats just a minor thing, as 3 works as its own game anyway

i haven't been able to play NV yet, it looked very good, i had a quick go one time, but i haven't played more than about half an hours worth, looked good to me, the main thing i liked was that there where more people than in fallout 3, the increased population and the reduced amount of damage in the desseer seems more fun to explore

indeed, have considered just killing him when nobody is around, he's a scumbag after all, i set an example as my character, i eliminated paradise falls, raven rock is destroyed, ten penny towers are safe, thanks to the wisdom of herbert daring dashwood , but ten penny himself has had a misterious fall, i clean up the wastes as best i can , oh i almost forgot those guys in that little town , the cannibals, the're gone too

I know but here is something funny.
When you have Charon's contract, you go to him, when he says " talk to A..."
You cut him and say that you are his boss now.
Charon: You are the new owner of my contract ? That is good, stay here while I do something.
And he goes to him, they talk a little and...
Charon: *get his shotgun and blows the ghoul 2 times* Alright, lets go!
Soo if you want that ghoul dead, just contract Charon and he will do the rest. XD

chaos-sandwhich In reply to guilhermehank [2012-07-14 22:10:04 +0000 UTC]
awsome, if the ghoul won't hand over the contract, is there a means by which i can manipulte the situation, with appropriate leverage? and loclpick skill?

i thought so, fits his neutral set up i guess, i liked fawkes mainly as he likes my high karma, im sort of a force of justice , at least thats how i model the character, i'm also loaded, as i can get an endless supply of sydny's ultra smg's for free thanks to a helpful glitch
π: 0 β©: 1
guilhermehank In reply to chaos-sandwhich [2012-07-14 22:24:38 +0000 UTC]
Charon is any karma (like Dogmeat)
and what is the glitch ? o3o
π: 0 β©: 1
chaos-sandwhich In reply to guilhermehank [2012-07-14 22:49:10 +0000 UTC]
well, sydny is suposed to head over to underworld if i remember right, after you tell her about the little moonbeam stuff, she gives you the ultra smg, but on my save , she just stands around on the deck of carrier/rivet city, and will repeat this dialouge over and over giving the reward again and again
its quite helpful, although i haven't needed it in a while of course, it was a great help earlier on when short of money

hummm yeah, some glitches are a pain in the ass but some might be funny or useful sometimes. I will try it if it works

haha , bye bye mutey , one thing i could never decide was which i hated more, super mutants or ferral ghouls, reaver ghouls juiss me off, but then there are far more super mutant overlords that get in my way
i know for sure the ghouls creep me out more, especilay so when i had only been playing a little while and i had next to no useful gear in my inventory

guilhermehank In reply to chaos-sandwhich [2012-07-15 14:09:13 +0000 UTC]
Yeah...I fucking ate their roar but the good side that they wont attack you until they finish roaring, that gives me time to attack them before they have their chance.
Super Mutants...well..." I WILL EAT YOUR BONES AND DRINK YOUR BLOOD" while shooting you mercelessly
π: 0 β©: 1
chaos-sandwhich In reply to guilhermehank [2012-07-15 14:15:41 +0000 UTC]
well yes the muties are a bit more agressive, at least the ghouls and mutants( well the majority of them on this coast) are as dumb as the pile's of rubble they live in makes then easy to get, my fav move against muties before i had fawkes tp blow them away was to turn the auto turrets against them where i could
that undergound train section to get to the air base really made me hate ghouls though, and that was with the robots on my side!
