This pic has received the most attention, lately, especially these the last couples of days. The recovery from my cold has left an arting desire. Yay!But my cold meds are kicking in, which makes me all 'heee, bed ~<3'
This is my first New Vegas pic, and yes the gang goes to Vegas with Dimi XD. Julian's to blame, as he convinces her and Butch to tag along with him to the city. Charon joins them because neither can think of a reason why his contract should be passed on to someone staying in D.C.
My sketches sometimes get colorful XD.
There's lots of symbolism in the cards and other things. The explanation can wait for the finished picture's desc, though(mostly because my writing skills are failing at the moment)
Umm.. might redo the shotgun. I'm not 100% happy with it. The New Vegas skyline will be the background, annnnnd.. I love how Butch turned out. One of the reasons I'm uploading this sketch is because of Butch XD. I dunno how I'm gonna finish this pic, yet, but if I ink it like Snake Fight, I'll probably lose some stuff I like about his face. Unless I get lucky.

. This will be the only one I uncheck the 'edit is minor' box, though. I don't wanna spam xD. (There will likely be more over the next few days until I get to coloring time.)I decided to just clean up the sketch lines to preserve the stuff I liked. I like it, even if it's more time consuming than inking.
I'm having all sorts of issues with Charon's shotgun clip, though. I just can't get it to match the angle of the gun ><;;
edit 2/26: Little more progress. I think I've conquered the gun issues at this point. Added more to the bg after reffing a pic I took of the skyline (gotta take pics of the tv for screenshots when playing on the ps3 XD)
edit: 3/6: Lineart is finally done! Next time you see this pic, it'll be colored and in my main gallery XD.

The WIP is awesome enough but....am I crazy or did there not used to be a colored version of it as well? I've poked around a bit and can't seem to find one. Am I crazy or just blind???

Okay, i feel like an ass. I was formerly and I didn't add you the minute I made this account. THIS PICTURE IS AMAZING. I KNEW I wasn't the only one who felt awkward NOT using FO3 Characters for FONV. (Though I do have a new one. She's blond and I named her Lucky XD)

The Ace, the Club, the spade, and the joker. Dearest me, the barrage of factions in FO:NV are going to have some trouble with these four, assuming its JUST this little savvy crew that is migrating to the West Coast.
It's awesome. It certainly feels everything that New Vegas should- the cockiness that gamblers need, the desperation, the strength... I love this! (i don't even own FO:NV and it seems just right! XD)

Excellent! In all of your Fallout 3 works, you captured the games feel perfectly. I look forward to see what you can do with New Vegas. Also, any further slapstick targeting Butch would be greatly appreciated.

For this pic, I'm using a customized pencil brush in Sai. Normally, I just use the program's basic ink pen.

Thanks! I think I got the clip issue fixed with this latest progress shot. We'll see how I feel about it in the next few days XD.

Lol, I have drawn her in a bleeding state often XD. Her Nosebleed nickname is well deserved! But for this pic she's the Courier, so the blood is in reference to the head shot she must endure.

Yeah, it would've been cool if some FO3 chars made an appearance in NV. (even though it would probably screw up some peoples' continuities, since everyone except the kids can be killed, pretty much xD. Returns from the dead!)
I haven't found Raul yet, and didn't develop any 'must have as a companion!' after seeing who you can recruit(well.. excluding Rex, but he's a German Shepherd, which makes him auto-awesome XD), but Cass and Arcade have grown on me. Boone's cool, too :3

I would pretty much cry whenever Butch would die in my party and reload a save. Same goes with Charon AHAHA! I'm glad they improved that a little in New Vegas, but now they pull a 'Pokemon' where they faint XD It's quite funny lol
When I found Raul, I was pretty much like 'meh! I don't like anything about you' and left him there alone XD My party is always Rex and Boone. Boone is one of those hard-asses but when you get enough 'experience points' with him, he starts telling you more and more about his story and I almost cried XD So he's got my heart for sure lol Arcade was pretty much nasty to me so I was like "FINE Fu then!" ahah
