Description So this comic was a long time in progress. Some of you may remember me Livestreaming this a few months ago x3.

A 'true story' told in comic form, and a little revenge session after the events of that other Reaver encounter comic of mine(as well as other Reaver encounters pre-ghoul mask xD). I was in the Hubris Comic shop when I bumped into a Reaver, but it was okay because of the Ghoul Mask. And then I got an evil idea.... >)
It was glorious.
Bloody glorious.
(I actually wasn't sure if a bunch of mines were gonna be enough to kill it. Fortunately, I used enough XD)

Dimi belongs to A. Crowe

reaver, "overkill"? I'm sorry but i don't understand the statement

I know. As a wise man once said, "There is no overkill, there is only 'open fire' and 'I need to reload'."

It's only overkill if you catch some of the blast damage.

You help the ghouls get into ten penny tower by telling the bastards to go fuck themselves and make them leave.

Fuck the reavers so much. Normal ferals don't take shit to kill. Glowing ones and roamers, same thing. But reavers take fucking everything

I remember when I first encountered a Reaver. as I was shooting at it with an assault rifle, the top half ofΒ Reaver's bodyΒ movementΒ was glitching like the AI's from that old gameΒ Golden Eye 64.

Here's this incase you haven't seen that glitch yet.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=ker8gp…

While it was spazing uncontrollably,Β all of my bullets were passing throughΒ it and it scared the s##t outta me because I thought I was fighting a zombie Sentinel from The Matrix. sure, I found out later that it was a glitch. but my first encounter with a Reaver was still both scary and funny at the same time. Lol

TeiOuja In reply to ViraIshnia [2014-05-27 12:18:24 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it's when you go to Tenpenny Tower and help the ghouls get inside the Tower. Their leader, Griffith, gives you the Ghoul Mask once you've completed the mission.Β

Be warned, though. Either way you complete the quest, you WILL lose Karma. Which, in my opinion, is actually a nice touch of gray morality.

hencoy101 In reply to TeiOuja [2015-07-06 05:25:31 +0000 UTC]

What is this karma that you speak of is it that thing that no one gives a shit about till it comes to 3's followers?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

kabhes In reply to TeiOuja [2014-06-27 13:06:36 +0000 UTC]

why do you lose karma?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TeiOuja In reply to kabhes [2014-06-27 13:10:31 +0000 UTC]

If you let the ghouls inside Tenpenny Tower, they slaughter everyone inside the building. If you kill the ghouls outside the Tower for Mister Tenpenny, you still lose karma.

Tell that to the Talon Company Mercs who hunt you down at High Karma, and members of the Brotherhood of Steel who shun you at Low Karma.

You should. It's actually an interesting moral dilemma, as well as one of my favorite quests in Fallout 3.

ViraIshnia In reply to TeiOuja [2014-05-30 05:20:12 +0000 UTC]

I don't think so. I'm a PC gamer so I can mod and cheat the crap out of my game

It's pretty fun. You beat the game properly once and then replay it with mods and cheats

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TeiOuja In reply to ViraIshnia [2014-05-31 01:24:59 +0000 UTC]

I see. And I wonder if it would be possible to mod EVERYTHING, and sell it as a new game. Like, get rid of all the Fallout characters and skins, reskin the landscape, plop in new characters.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ViraIshnia In reply to TeiOuja [2014-06-01 02:52:11 +0000 UTC]

You never know, a mod like that might already exist. They did it for Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TeiOuja In reply to ViraIshnia [2014-06-01 08:39:34 +0000 UTC]

True, true. Some people might say New Vegas is that kind of mod, but I see it as a spiritual sequel to Fallout 3.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ViraIshnia In reply to TeiOuja [2014-06-02 02:07:57 +0000 UTC]

I never viewed New Vegas as a mod for Fallout 3 (probably because I ended up playing NV first)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TeiOuja In reply to ViraIshnia [2014-06-02 02:35:09 +0000 UTC]

Honestly, Fallout 3's my favorite out of the Fallout saga. True, New Vegas' survival system is kickass, and I dig Ceasar's Legion more than the Enclave as antagonists, but I just think Fallout 3 has a much better story.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ViraIshnia In reply to TeiOuja [2014-06-03 03:42:59 +0000 UTC]

Fallout 3 definitely had a better story. I'm hoping they use the leveling system from Skyrim when they eventually make the next Fallout. Skyrim's leveling system kicks ass

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TeiOuja In reply to ViraIshnia [2014-06-03 03:45:31 +0000 UTC]

Same here. Although I prefer Oblivion to Skyrim. Also, I'd really like some horses in Fallout 4. Which would make more sense than having cars, since Fallout's in a universe where fuel is quite rare.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ViraIshnia In reply to TeiOuja [2014-06-03 05:08:37 +0000 UTC]

Both games have their strong points. I don't think I could pick a fave between the two. The Mages' quests in Oblivion made it so it took a little longer to get to the top and the chameleon spell kicked invisibility's ass. Skyrim had way better graphics (obviously) and it took longer to finish the main quest line. Neither game was all that big on immersion to be honest.
There's actually a mod for New Vegas that gives you a motorcycle. I don't think they use gasoline in Fallout. I can't really remember since it's been a while since I paid attention to something like that but considering they have plasma rifles and power armour, they have to be using something more sustainable than gasoline. I just hope they have rides in general in the next fallout. Maybe they would have something like cyber horses like Vampire Hunter D.
