Description
So this comic was a long time in progress. Some of you may remember me Livestreaming this a few months ago x3.A 'true story' told in comic form, and a little revenge session after the events of that other Reaver encounter comic of mine(as well as other Reaver encounters pre-ghoul mask xD). I was in the Hubris Comic shop when I bumped into a Reaver, but it was okay because of the Ghoul Mask. And then I got an evil idea.... >)
It was glorious.
Bloody glorious.
(I actually wasn't sure if a bunch of mines were gonna be enough to kill it. Fortunately, I used enough XD)

You said it would be cool to have a cyborg horse in Fallout. And I agreed with you.

I had a feeling that's what it meant but wasn't sure
I wonder if they are making another Fallout. I looked it up the other day and I caught rumors of it but nothing solid because we all know how reliable internet rumors are XP

Indeed. Though I have a sneaking suspicion that Bethesda's recent games [Wolfenstien: New Order, Prey 2 and BattleCry] are them testing new software for Fallout 4. I mean, they had to make the Elder Scrolls Games in order to create Fallout 3.

ViraIshnia In reply to TeiOuja [2014-06-07 03:03:58 +0000 UTC]
They did? Hmm, I might have to look into those games to get an idea on how the game's ai might be...but not right now...I have to ignore my impulse to buy a bunch of games I need to save money.
I wonder if Skyrim was Bethseda testing new ideas. I mean, a leveling system where each individual skill upgrades as you use it is a pretty unique idea in the gaming world. None of the other rpgs I play feature that...I still want a cyborg mount though

Aye. And maybe a crossbow. Closest thing we've had to a crossbow would be the massively underrated Radscorpion Dart Launcher, which is incidentally my favorite weapon in Fallout 3 because of how friggin' overpowered it is. Seriously, one shot from that baby can cripple an enemy's entire body, limbs and head included. And four can kill them pretty quickly. Also, very efficient weapon for sneaking.

ViraIshnia In reply to TeiOuja [2014-06-08 01:16:57 +0000 UTC]
Huh, I don't think I ever got that weapon. I'll have to look for it when I play fallout 3 again. Crossbows would make sense. The world of Fallout doesn't make it seem like the metals and energy needed to make their weapons would be cheap enough for everyone to have. The machinery is probably in constant need of repair, the mutated predators would make it dangerous, and the presence of deadly thieves would make it even more so. I can't see the raw materials needed to make guns to be cheap. That doesn't even include the effort that would be needed to make the materials into guns. Crossbows and the like would probably be a lot cheaper to manufacture

Agreed. Or alternatively, perhaps there could be some makeshift guns. Like these:Β files.gamebanana.com/bitpit/12β¦

ViraIshnia In reply to TeiOuja [2014-06-10 23:34:47 +0000 UTC]
That would work too. It kinda hurts the immersion when you have these high powered guns for dirt cheap

Or you just stumble onto these high-powered guns.

I know! Who in their right mind would leave something like that lying around? I could see if MAYBE someone died out in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere by a mole rat (those things are vicious) and his corpse still clutched a high powered (but in need of repair) weapon. The only thing they seem to keep a somewhat tight grasp on is the power armour and even that is still pretty easy to get

Bethseda should do what Microsoft did when they were creating Windows 7, LISTEN to what their customers wanted and give it to them

Bethesda's pretty much become the Pixar of video-games. But I admit that their games are frequently prone to crashing, which is something I've lovingly called 'Bethesda Syndrome'.

ViraIshnia In reply to TeiOuja [2014-06-12 07:11:20 +0000 UTC]
Lol, I'll have to remember that one. The crashing DOES drive me nuts though. Especially in Skyrim, it's to the point of ridiculousness. I'd rather wait a little longer for them to get the bugs out than have it sooner and have it crash every half hour

TeiOuja In reply to ViraIshnia [2014-06-12 07:12:38 +0000 UTC]
Agreed. As much as I love Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3, the constant crashing drives me up the bleedin' wall.

At least Bethseda usually doesn't have a problem with gamers creating mods for their games. I'm 70% sure there was an unofficial path for Hearthfire on nexus before Bethseda got around to creating an official one.
Fallout doesn't crash as often at Elder Scrolls does. With Elder Scrolls I learned to save frequently. Skyrim is especially buggy. Every time I would walk to Riften (fast travel ctd'ed less often) the game would ctd. So annoying. It's hair-pullingly frustrating.

Bioware seems to be a little more reliable than Bethseda, at least with Dragon Age

TeiOuja In reply to ViraIshnia [2014-06-19 11:15:59 +0000 UTC]
True, but I argue that Bethesda is a bit more mature in terms of their games than Bioware. Emphasis on 'a bit'. Β

Lol, okay, I can agree on that. One thing that bugs me about both is that they give you the option to romance members of either sex but your choices of eligible partners is slim and none of the NPCs are all that good. Bethseda is a little bit better in this aspect.

Seriously, whenever I find that stuff, my first instinct is to sell it for money, so I can buy Stimpaks, Radaway and any melee weapon. And sometimes, various grenades.

Grenades are awesome. I prefer long distance rifles to be honest. Nothing beats sneaking up and shooting an NPC in the face before they even see you

I just go in waving my Axe. Seriously, Axes in Fallout 3 are AWESOME. Though the only ranged weapon I use is the Radscorpion Dart Gun. Everything else is melee; Deathclaw Gauntlets, Rippers, Chinese Officer's Swords, Lead Pipes [surprisingly useful against Mole Rats], Power Fists, and Axes. Rarely any firearms, since they make too much noise.

Indeed. I wish Fallout 4 could have co-op, and be backward-compatible with the PS3. Imagine the possibilities; meaning you can load your characters from Fallout 3 or New Vegas, and have that character team up with your current one. It'd be like Borderlands, except less frustrating and without a douchey sense of humour.

What would also be awesome is to see the crazy granny blue mutant thing (can't remember what they're called) take on a Deathstalker (that their name?). I never really kept her as a follower so I don't know if she ever really did shit like that

She's an awesome companion. And if you mean Deathclaws, than she's practically Deathclaw-proof. Just remember to give her a LOT of stimpacks, especially when up against Legendary, Mother or Great Deathclaws.
