I'm not planning to start a series of Fallout comics, just so you know. But this moment, in the game, was best conveyed in comic format. (coloring was fun, too!)This is perhaps my most memorable, non-plot moment in the game, so far, because it scared the shit out of me. If you've been to this particular place, I'm sure you can relate (especially if you're an excited sugar bomb collector like I am. Caaaaaps)
Seriously, I thought I just walked my party into a death trap I went and triggered for them. I'm sure if Butch and Dogmeat didn't just stand around while the place erupted into explosions, they would've been wondering why the hell they're following my character around for XD. Dimitri's dangerous!

That store was so awesome. I ran up and box smacked the dominos thinking that's all there was. I raced ahead to see where it would land and found that first pressure plate. -bad news face-. I just ran in some direction and ended up getting chased by the explosions and out the door without noticing the goodies. Big thumbs up to whoever designed that one.

It's a Grocery store in the Jury Street Metro area. (I hope I got that metro name right. It's been a while since this event happened XD)

Lol, I do remember that, though I was like "Oh, what's this?" and followed after the domino mechanism and walked straight into the first explosion.
Though one incident that got me was out in the wasteland, there is a tree full of booby-trapped grenades (literally dozens in this one tree) and I ran head long towards all the goodies at the foot of the tree without looking, only to hear the usual "Plink...ssssssss..." As a bunch of grenades fell and started rolling down the hill towards me.

The REAL reason for this thing's existence is that if the chain reaction goes off successfully, several things will fall from a hole in the ceiling, including, IIRC, three missiles, two skill books, a skeleton, and a mini-nuke.

I remember when i first triggered this (i was on my own though), i followed the arrows going "ok whats this?" then stepped on that pressure plate and when the dominos started to fall i watched it and i was like "oh this can't be good..." BOOM

I remember this. I was exploring the area behind vault 101 entrance with fawks when I walked into that grocery store in the abandoned settlement. I stepped on the button on the on the floor, thinking it would trigger a raider trap. But instead, the crap was scared out of me by the explosion.

there is one store that has explosive traps set up so that if you bump something it goes like dominos and sets off the traps
