I'm not planning to start a series of Fallout comics, just so you know. But this moment, in the game, was best conveyed in comic format. (coloring was fun, too!)This is perhaps my most memorable, non-plot moment in the game, so far, because it scared the shit out of me. If you've been to this particular place, I'm sure you can relate (especially if you're an excited sugar bomb collector like I am. Caaaaaps)
Seriously, I thought I just walked my party into a death trap I went and triggered for them. I'm sure if Butch and Dogmeat didn't just stand around while the place erupted into explosions, they would've been wondering why the hell they're following my character around for XD. Dimitri's dangerous!

When I first started playing I didn't know about land mines, and found this weird perservation tube thingy in the Capital wastelands and walked up to it. And got blown up and three crippled.

After reading this I happened to walk into the same grocrey store and see those boxes and two preasure plates. I dissarmed them and then when my sister told me it'd still blow up I tried to prove her wrong by knocking over a box. The place still blew up.

Grocery store with a seriously elaborate set trap, one of those Rube Goldberg machines. Epic moment because even if you see the trap you cant help but set it off. Marvel at the programmers talent at setting it up. Lol

Can you tell me the general area that store is? I've traveled all around, but still haven't found another grocery store other than super-duper mart.

Well thing was, it was such a random thing that it isn't exactly locale memorable. A general store? When you speak to Lucy West in Megaton, she'll give you a quest to deliver a message to Arefu. After going there you're given three locations to search one is a metro station. Facing away from the gate to the metro on the right is the grocer. Inside is just some random stuff. However that's one of many. There's one south west of ten penny tower along with a mechanic's garage. I would encourage you to search out the grocers as many of them contain a lot of cool and useful stuff. The one by ten penny has a merchant and all their stuff in it. Lol. I hope this helps you a bit and makes your Fallout 3 experience a little better.

Always wondered why there would still be a fully-stocked grocery store... But, hey, Sugar Bombs! Totally freaked me out too, adding to the fact I was playing it at midnight.

Wow. I remember that. I was getting the Xuan Long Assault Rifle from the cafe there and saw the grocer, and obviously got curious. The rest is pretty much self explanatory.

The expressions and the colors are great, you made a real nice comic here. My god I can't stop laughing XD Lately this has been happening to me a lot too. But it's mostly because a weird bug makes the mines disappear underground, so I can't see them ^^. More realistic, but I have no idea what's causing this ... oh well, it makes things more interesting

You have to complete "Trouble on the Homefront" first. Afterwards, you find him in the Muddy Rudder in Rivet City. There is a Karma requirement though-you have to be neutral or else he won't come with you.
