I'm not planning to start a series of Fallout comics, just so you know. But this moment, in the game, was best conveyed in comic format. (coloring was fun, too!)This is perhaps my most memorable, non-plot moment in the game, so far, because it scared the shit out of me. If you've been to this particular place, I'm sure you can relate (especially if you're an excited sugar bomb collector like I am. Caaaaaps)
Seriously, I thought I just walked my party into a death trap I went and triggered for them. I'm sure if Butch and Dogmeat didn't just stand around while the place erupted into explosions, they would've been wondering why the hell they're following my character around for XD. Dimitri's dangerous!

One time I was passing by two random army trucks in the Wasteland when both of them blew up. Scared me s***less and to this day I still have no clue what caused it.

Ah, yes. I remember that place. The raider camp where they're out raiding during the night, when I turned up there and then when I go back cos I met the ultra jet guy, it's day and they've turned up along with a random deathclaw who happened to be in the neighbourhood. blasted annoying.
Oh yeah, and the pressure plate with big white arrows pointing to it which I, due to my lovely curiosity, then stepped on to see what it did.

........You do know that's an easter egg right? It's supposed to be the domino easter egg you weren't supposed to take the boxes yet plus your suppposed to watch the entire disay from when the tubling boxes come down and the res will make a special reaction

Oh GOD!!! I stumbled across this and then thought "yay! food!" and proceeded to throw the controller down and squeal for about half an hour. One of my friends played it and actually peed themselves when this happened...

Haha, I remember that little store as well. I remember I had Dogmeat with me, but it wasn't Butch. I think it was a woman. Oh man, I ended up crawling out of there with two crippled legs. At least my team mates survived as well. In my version of the comic, you would have seen be flying all over the room. Then crawling out also exclaiming "WE'RE ALIVE!"

I'm not a big fan of Fallout... in fact I've gone right off it as of late - but this just made me laugh so hard I had to favor it. Excellent work. The expressions on your character's face are priceless

It's a Heath Robinson contraption (sometimes called a Rube Goldberg machine in the USA) - a complicated device, often involving a chain reaction, to accomplish a simple goal: in this case causing a loot haul to drop from a hole in the ceiling in one corner of the room. As I recall, the haul includes a mini-nuke. If the haul doesn't drop for you, reload the auto save and try again!
A good example of this kind of device is the contraption built in the board game Mouse Trap.
