This is probably a stupid question; but can their fur be natural colours like brown and such without other colours like pink? If ya know what I mean

By default, psyraps are naturally colored (for example, when they appear in their originating graphic novel, they are usually only one or two colors, and definitely not pink or neons lol). However, the coloration of customized/personal psyraps is up to the individual artist and their tastes/preferences.

Considering I love Raptors I was attracted to your original and never before seen design. The ideas you have come up with are absolutely astonishing and awesome, quite intriguing. I would try to do one of these but honestly I am too damn lazy to try it, I'll stick to what I've got. But seriously, awesome work dude, love it.

There is so much detail and thought put into this species. You even thought about the form and shape of their teeth, which is something not usually addressed. The sounds linked in the comment are really cool, and they fit perfectly with the mind-image I've gotten of these guys n' gals.
Running, sitting walking, sleeping, all these things are dealt with, as well as fur areas and types, the aging process, everything someone could want to know about them. It's just so amazingly detailed, and it makes them come alive, while still leaving room for the imagination.
I bow before the enormous effort put into this.

What animal would be best to referance for a psyrap's face? I personally would referance a rat or a possum's face but I wanted your oppinion first.
Also, where can I find the lines for a laying and sprinting psyrap?

The design of the psyrap head was loosely based off a combination of the incorrect version of deinonychus's skull, the spotted hyena, and mesonychids such as sinonyx and pakicetus. the mesonychid bit would give them a somewhat possum like face, yes.

I have a few questions:
1. Is it possible to have a psy-rap geneticaly engineered and still look "natural" as it were or would it look somewhat diffrent to what is considered to be natural for the species?
2. What are the height averages (to the sholders) of a average psy-rap?
3. In anthromorphic form, do psy-raps still use their feral voice box, or can they talk like humans?
4. Do anthromorphic psy-raps have to learn to control their shifts from feral to anthro form, or do they have no choice?

1. Yes, even today we have genetically altered animals that look identical to their natural cousins.
2. When on all fours, I would say their shoulders go up to about the average human hip area. Smaller ones about the thigh area and larger ones to the waist area. This would be for natural psyraps that appear in my novels. OC, personal psyraps can be of any height.
3. I would say that is completely up to the individual character's owner, since everybody has a different view of what anthropomorphic truely is.
4. From my understanding, anthro characters are "as-is", and it's "weres" that shift from one form to another. Once again, whether they shift and how is up to the individual characters owners ideas of how anthros/weres "work"

Psyrap character customizations are up to each individual creator. For the most part they can be treated the same as other species, such as wolves.

Psyrap question: In this world where they come from, is there a particular habitat they live in, like rainforest, mountains, etc, or are they fairly universal like wolves? Could a grip in a certain region develop subtle adaptations or certain colors depending on the environment they frequent?

there are subspecies based on their environment. i would liken the subspecies differentiation to foxes instead of wolves. however the "version" i draw/show the most is the "main" one.
the only subspecies i have revealed is the domesticated line. but in the script for the yez story (not the freekazaur graphic novel) there is a subspecies specialized for the forest, desert, treetops, grasslands, tundra, and the city.

That's cool. I was mostly wondering because I'm thinking of making a grip of several characters, and whether or not to specialize them.
Also, I want to say that's it's really amazing how much you've done with your species. If I ever come across one of their graphic novels, you can bet I'll buy one. Great stuff!

In my last post with all the questions there were a few I realized I forgot to add in. I apologize.
1) What is the top speed of a psyraptor when running flat out Quad style?
2) What is the top speed when running Bipedal?
3) How high can they jump from a stand still point?
4) What is the longest length they can jump from a stand still point?
5) How high and long can they jump when their top speed is figured into the equation?
6) How powerful is their five senses compaired to a human? How well can they see in low light and darkness?
7) What types of diseases are they naturally suseptable to? [can they get rabies or does it not exist on their planet?]

Wow that was more than just a few questions. I can't help but ask, this is such a wonderful species and I just want to know as much as possible about them so I can create and edit my characters properly when they are done as this species.

its hard to determine since i havent been able to work on them much lately. i would say they are about as fast as maybe a great dane or baboon on quad. and maybe as fast as on ostrich biped, if not a bit slower. they are not specialized for speed, but rather endurance and turning tight corners.
they cannot jump very high due to their tail, but they can leap long distances horizontally. i dont have exact numbers.
compared to humans: they can smell better, taste less, hear better, see worse in daytime than a human but have better night vision than a human. im still debating whether they can see ultraviolent, and if they are colorblind.
yes they could catch rabies and they like. same rules apply as with wild/domestic animals on earth. such as wild psyraps dont really get cancer, while domestic ones are susceptible to it.

I hope you don't mind but I've got a few questions. I started writing short stories for my psyraps and wanted to get a little bit of information instead of attempting to make stuff up.
1) How long does a female's pregancy last?
2) Do psychoraptors have a specific breeding season or are they the type which breed whenever conditions are stable enough?
3) The typical litter size is 2. What are the chances that only a single pup will be born? Is there a remote chance that more than 2 pups will be born?
4) You have the average length and height and lifespan listed. What is the average adult weight? [I just wanted a reference was all cause I think I might have made my guys under weight XP and thus controdicted their other proportions.]
5) Psychoraptors have a different jaw design than earth animals. The top canines being infront of the lower canines. Aside from the near total amputation from this bite, are there any other evolutionary purposes for this design? As in, all animals on earth have muscles which pull the bottom jaw to meet the top jaw. However sabertooths had an extra set of muscles which not only pulled the bottom jaw to the top, but the top jaw to the bottom thus adding more force. Do psychoraptors sport this?
6) What is the max bite force of a psychoraptor?

1 - i really dont know at this point unfortunately.
2 - they have no specific breeding season
3 - wild psyraps are more likely to give birth to 1 then to 3 (domestic psyraps give birth to more)
4 - i cant really give a weight but it's definitely more than 100 pounds.
5 - they dont have an extra set of muscles however their jaw muscles are similar to spotted hyenas and pit bulls, where the jaw muscles connect at the top of the head.
6 - their bite force is probably stronger than a wolf but not more than a hyena, as they don't specialize in scavenging. they are however fully capable of supporting their entire body weight on their jaws alone.
