They are longer and thinner like shown on the journal header of the #PSYCHORAPTORS group.
Some people with female characters have chosen not to add tendrils, such as ~vixengal01 with Eclipse.
In the refsheet I have amended it to say that all males are born with tendrils, but only %50 of females are.

I like what you've added to them. You definitely have them very well thought out and I can tell you've invested a lot of time and effort into it. As well as knowing your animals/biology/physiology to make them very believable.
Very cool how you added the domestication bit, very fun!
When I get some free time, I'd love to try and tackle making one! I have been meaning to, just been BUSY as all hell XD Now that I'm all graduated, I will have some time to DRAW again

You draw mad well, and these guys almost improve on the original (raptors have simplicity going for them, but these have tendrils!) As I read the sheet I just imagined how I'd draw one myself, and it's very good of you to let sortof fancharacters of them be made so freely. Fantastic detail too, bringing ecology--their niche--into how these might have evolved. I especially liked the explanation of their complex patterns not just as a cool aesthetic, but as something that helps them blend in, like tigers' stripes. The only thing I'm left wondering is if there are any limits on colors or patterns. Very cool stuff here.

as far as limits on colors or patterns, i would say the same "rules" apply to them as would for say wolves. yea they are suppose to have a limited color scheme, but personal characters really are only limited to the individuals creativity.

I don't think I can express how amazing the psyrap specie are. You've taken my childhood love for raptors and stepped it up a notch, making them that much cooler.

True that it's vaguely creative, however, if someone makes their own bullshit, there's no need to throw a world class hissyfit over it.
Besides, it's a cross between several existing species, apparently, and you don't OWN any of those species.

The species is NOT a cross. I specifically listed known animals to help the people that kept asking me what animals are they like so they knew wat to draw. Its the same as when you try to explain a fossa to someone who has never seen one. You might say, "well its like a cross between a monkey and a cat." Now, does that mean they are literally a cat-monkey hybrid???
The psychoraptor is a full blooded animal descendant from alien dinosaurs, and have a small to medium role in a graphic novel that is in preproduction.
They are about as similar to dromaeosaurs as hyenas are to wolves. Only the ignorant get them mixed up. "I'm just saying."
