At the end when you talk about the jpeg format.. isnt that the reason why we use "PNG" format? with PNG you get the same result as u see it on ur psd (anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong though)

honestly, with my skills using photoshop (or any other program of the sort), i would be lucky if i could get to step 1.
I guess thats why i find this work so amazing :/
