What's this? Is this 2D artwork I see here? Surely I can't be submitting something that's along the lines of "traditional art".

Ah, but your eyes are not fooled. Over this reading week I've been taking a stab at digital painting. I've had my Wacom tablet for about 8 months now, and really never put it to the test, apart from doing some textures for character models. So I thought, why not try digital painting, and see where I can go from there. Took a couple tries for me to get used to the blending, but I think I got a handle on it now.

So, this is Agent Smith from the Matrix Trilogy if you couldn't already tell. It was painted in Phtoshop CS in about 8 hours. The background matrix code, is just a picture though, so I didn't do that part though. Other than that I think it turned out quite nicely.

Any comments you have would be cool....but, be gentle....this is my time trying digital painting, and I was never that great at painting in the first place.
